Also known as the Java Yellow Kneed Tarantula. Contrary to popular belief, tarantulas are venomous, like most spiders. No one has ever died from a bite of a tarantula though.
The potency of the venom depends on the kind of tarantula. Tarantulas from the new world (Americas) have the no worse than bee sting venom. Instead though, they can kick hair off their legs and abdomen which can cause bad rashes.
Old world tarantulas (Asia, Middle East, Africa) are usually more aggressive, have a much stronger venom, and may require medical attention (especially for the Poecilotheria and Haplopelma genus).

Location: Peru
The Neotropical Bird Spiders are a type of tarantula. They live in humid rain forests and are terrestrial, mainly living in burrows.
The South American Tarantulas can reach more than 20 cm in length and are among the world's largest spiders (significantly bigger than their North American counterparts). They are large enough to eat birds and are said to even attack chickens in some cases. However, In parts of South America, children sometimes keep tarantulas as pets.

Name: Heterometrus spinifer - Black Scorpion
Location: West Java
The Malaysian Forest Scorpion is an aggressive, large, shiny black scorpion.
The Malaysian Forest Scorpion is quite defensive and will readily sting when it feels cornered or in danger. It is similar to the Emperor Scorpion only in looks and not in behavior. They are very aggressive and unlike the Emperor Scorpion, this species is not as likely to settle down in captivity. It can be distinguished from the Emperor in that it is slightly more elongated and its pedipalps and claws are larger and more elongated.

Name: Phryna grossetaitai - Tailless Whip Scorpion
Location: Peru
The Tailless Whip Scorpion is an amazing spiked cave dwelling spider with huge spiked mandibles. The long set of whips are actually it’s first set of legs not antennae.
This nocturnal spider relative has no silk glands. It also lacks a tail with a poison gland, instead using stealth and specialized pincers (centre) to catch prey.
